Overall, the holiday was great.
As always, everything was excellently arranged. The driver was waiting for us nicely in Dublin and the welcome at Portumna was very friendly. After a brief but clear explanation, we were ready for take-off ! Ireland remains a beautiful country, especially from the water and we love the Irish people. They always remain friendly.

Negatives were electricity and fridge constantly a problem. Toilets also very smelly at times. We emptied toilets/waste ourselves after a few days.
Fridge constantly leaking and food going off/ice turning to water as a result. Engineers came out but recurring problem.

The base was very accommodating but left a few returning renters anxious and puzzled when nobody turned up to check them out on bank holiday monday.
