Boat was perfect, everything was catered for
We had a lovely time, weather wasnt great but that didn't dampen our spirits. Boat was perfect, everything was catered for. We would definitely think about hiring again. We found the driving of the boat grand, I think because of the time of year and weather the current was strong so mooring the boat was a bit of a challenge. Otherwise a wholly enjoyable weekend.

Our Norwegian friends enjoyed the few days
All went very well with our trip on the Shannon and our Norwegian friends enjoyed the few days. Boat was ready by 2pm on Friday which meant we could make Boyle Harbour that day. The second night we stayed in Battlebridge and the last night in Carrick.

It was a very good few days.
It was very enjoyable once the intimidation eased. The first day was very windy and the training was brief so it took a while to get the hang of it. Mind you, getting a rope,I hadn’t noticed caught around the prop in Victoria lock after an hour didn’t help! Once that was sorted all went very smoothly. People at mooring are so helpful which is very beneficial.
