We had a wonderful time, we stayed overnight in Portumna, Killaloe, Mount Shannon and Banagher.
The first three days of weather were perfect. The boat was very comfortable and the kids loved it.
It was great learning how to navigate the boat and do the simple things like filling it up with water and removing the domestic waste.

The entire staff at Carrick-on-Shannon were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even though on our first night there the key we had would not unlock the showers/toilets. On our final night we had to get another key in order to be able to use the facilities.
