The only negative was the boat broke down on the Sunday and we had to call out your engineer. It just meant we finished Sunday morning instead of Monday. Only gripes if I had any would be where to get rid of rubbish in one or two places though an amazing lady in a shop in killaloe took ours so maybe knowing where the bins are would be good eg. mount shannon. I also mentioned to the cruiser company that the water hose on the boat was about 10-15 feet short. Only very minor things so.

All in all an excellent holiday
We had an excellent time really enjoyed the holiday. So much so I’m back for another week fishing !! The boat booking was very good. We were really pleased with everything. The lock keepers with the exception of the one up at Loughnan Key are wonderful people.

Hi all, we went with Carrickcraft on the Wave Queen from 12 to 19 June. Headed south onto Lough Derg. Started in Terryglass, Dromineer, Killaloe, Portumna, Athlone, Shannonbridge and spent the last night in Banagher onboard. We eat out every night and we never disappointed.
