We really enjoyed our trip on the Shannon, it was a much needed break from work as it was highly relaxing and allowed us to unwind. We couldn't have got better weather for mid October and we got in before the level 5 restrictions so everything worked out perfectly :D

We had a great time on shannon cruise. It was a little harder than we thought handling the boat coming into moors & locks but was a great experience. We will definitely do it again.
Unfortunately we did have a bump with a lock, luckily we took out collision damage insurance so not too bad, thank god.

It was difficult of course with the restrictions on pubs and restaurants. Jackie and I simply moored at Victoria lock for 3 nights. She drank GnT’s and I fished and swigged Beer. Thank you for your email, this was our third year in a row and we got our first decent week, weather wise, we thoroughly enjoyed it, so relaxing.
We had a mechanical issue with the boat at 10pm one night in Lough Key and I have to say within 30 mins we had a mechanic on site and solved it within an hour. Fabulous support system and well done.
