Had a great time on the Shannon , all the family enjoyed it ,my dad especially. Boat was fantastic very easy to handle and very clean. The lads from emerald star who worked on marina were great, very helpful and great Craic. Will be back again hopefully before season ends.

We had a great trip.
We had a great trip. Weather was a bit too windy on the Saturday so we didn't manage to get as far as Dromineer - the quick motor across from Portumna to Terryglass was quite choppy!! The Sunday was fabulous so we headed down an hour from Terryglass to Rossmore Harbour where we all enjoyed a quick dip in the sunshine.

It was the most wonderful few days on the Shannon, with glorious sunshine throughout. It is such a special way to see Ireland "from the inside". We didn't want to give our perfect little boat back!

I would highly recommend Shannon River due to the service we received
We had a fantastic 3 days on the river and got a lot further down the river than anticipated as we made use of all the drivers onboard.
I would highly recommend Shannon River due to the service we received from the early check in, to the instruction received on the boat and to the after service provided when our personal belongings left onboard were returned to us.

All in all the boat was fine. The equipment was sufficient for a holiday hire and everything was nice and clean. A bucket with a rope would have been a great edition, to be able to get water from the river to scrub decks etc. and a few plastic chairs for the table on the sun deck would have been nice. Everyb...
