Dear Brian – we only got back yesterday – as we also travelled part of Ireland for a bit – we were not lucky weatherwise but gosh are you Irish friendly people fun loving regardless of the cold and wet – not sure we Swiss make that impression – we had a great time on the river – are used from France to more locks and more „action“ but knew that it would be that way.

We had a lovely weekend thank you. The only down side being that the boat wasn't ready so we were late setting off Friday. I would highly recommend the cruise, between yourselves, carrickcraft for instruction, lock keepers and other river pilots being most helpful when navigation got a bit tricky. I would hope to be back.

We did indeed have a great time on our cruise from Portumna to Carrick-on-Shannon! Our boat from Emerald Star was perfect for our group and amazingly easy use with the bow and stern thrusters. The Navigation Guide that was provided was essential and also easy to follow as we navigated the river and found our overnight parking spots. Thanks for your help with...

It was BRILLIANT!!! We definitely want to go again and again! My Husband and I went with my Mom's and we brought our Dogs too, we all had a great time! The boat was excellent, such a great fun to drive it! Such an adventure! Thank you all so much and hope to get on a trip soon again!!!
