yes, we had a great time on the river, mostly Lough Derg. We didn't get the weather Met Eireann promised, but as one wag said, that only happens when they promise rain!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break, cruising on the Shannon. Everything was very well organised from booking in through to car parking and understanding how the boat worked. It only took us a very short time to feel confident handling the boat. Our short break was great, quick check in and check out, very helpful guy who gave us the demo on the boat, we were really lucky with the weather, we will definitely be back again hopefully for a longer trip.
