Glendeer Pet Farm, (5 miles west of Athlone, exit 13 off M6, follow signs for Drum) is an interactive experience where people can feed, pet & hold some of the animals, which include deer, pot belly pigs, llamas, emu, ostrich, goats, donkeys, sheep, and lots more including the new arrivals monkeys, wallabies & tortoises.
Glendeer is suitable for any weather as there is indoor & outdoor picnic & play areas, along with a large section of the animals undercover. Relax in our coffee shop with fresh coffee/tea & homemade treats. Groups catered for with guided tour by appointment.
Easter Egg Hunts held every Easter Sat, Sun & Mon @ 3pm

For the month of December, Glendeer is transformed into Ireland's Lapland with Santa, Dancer and Prancer, a crib with live cow & donkey, a snow scene, elves workshop, winter wonderland with snow and lots more.
Santa arrives by sleigh @5pm on Sat 3rd Dec - 23rd of December.
